This project got started when I, Mike Willems aka Vividd (or aka Kuujin of the EU realm Turalyon in World of Warcraft, although at this time I do not play it anymore), noticed how the raid and group organising section of my guild's forum was getting cluttered with all the threads for organsining, and saw the difficulty for the organisers trying to arrange everything. I'm a hobbyist programmer, and thought that maybe I could come up with something to make things easier.
After a while of tinkering I actually came up with something, and when I put it online for a test it was well-received, and after squashing some initial bugs I started on taking on the feedback and eventually things started to get rolling, and eventually it escalated into much more of a real project. I eventually tackled the problem of coming up with a system that was adequate to handle large 40-man raids and received numerous requests by others for copies of the tool. Since then the project has been rolling along well and has become a great tool for raiding guilds.

Dispite the fact I've quit WoW I still think the tool has come out pretty well and I'll keep it up to date with any new patches/expansions in WoW.
